After graduating from the U of M he took his studies to Logan University in St. Louis, MO where he spent the most important 4 years of his life absorbing everything he could about Chiropractic, wellness, nutrition, and the science of getting people well without drugs or surgery. Shortly after graduating from Logan as a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Fennema gained another important distinction- becoming a fellow of Chiropractic BioPhysics, the world's most researched, published, and scientific technique in the Chiropractic profession. Dr. J continues to use CBP protocols and methods in both of his clinics today helping thousands of people overcome their pain and dysfunction while leading them to a more corrected posture, better movement patterns, and healthier lifestyles.

His passions away from the office center around his wife Erin and three children Landon, Audrey, & Cole; there is nothing more important than family. Dr. Fennema is an avid golfer, downhill skier, and outdoor enthusiast, has run the Chicago Marathon, and has summited Mt. Rainier and most recently the Grand Teton. He credits a "Chiropractic Lifestyle" as the key to his success.
